PAL Tech provides academic and social support for at-risk students identified by their classroom teachers. The program also seeks to evaluate the impact of technology in conjunction with in-person tutoring on students' learning and motivation. PAL Tech tutors are university undergraduates taking Gevirtz School pre-professional classes.

Operating from laptops at the GRC, tutors communicate with students at the PAL computer lab via full duplex audio, interactive whiteboard, and live web cam.
